Podcast episode title generator
Describe the episode in a sentence or paste your notes. You get ten titles, each taking a different angle, all short enough to survive Apple Podcasts and YouTube without being truncated.
What makes a title work
The generator follows these, and they are worth knowing whether or not you use it:
- Under about 60 characters. Apple truncates in list views and YouTube cuts off on mobile. A title that is clever in its second half is a title nobody reads.
- Front-load the specific word. The thing that makes this episode different should be in the first three words, not after a colon.
- No promise the episode cannot keep. Clickbait buys one click and costs a subscriber. The listener who feels tricked does not come back.
- Try different angles on the same episode. The concrete claim, the question it answers, the person it is for, the surprising detail. Which one wins is rarely the one you would guess, which is why ten beats one.
How to choose between them
Read each one cold, as if you had never heard of your show. If you would not tap it in a list of ten unrelated podcasts, it is not the one. Say it out loud too: titles that read well and sound awkward do badly when someone recommends you.
Titles are one step of about twelve
PodPilot360 writes the title, the description, the hashtags, the chapters, and the clips, from the audio itself rather than from a summary you type. Upload one episode free and compare its titles to the ones above.
No card. One episode, rendered end to end, yours to download. Publishing starts on a paid plan.
